Vice President, ESG Support, Risk Management
Responsibilities:

  • To support the ESG Committee to develop, maintain and report the ESG strategy/plans and the ESG management framework.
  • To drive and provide support the implementation of Climate Risk Management include maintaining and enhancing the climate risk scenario models, carrying out the climate risk stress testing and providing support to compile climate risk disclosure.
  • To consolidate the climate related risk information from various stakeholders and maintain a centralized repository for the Bank's climate risk management.
  • To improve the data quality of climate related risk data
  • To monitor and report the status of business achievements on green financing and climate risk limit/MAT.
  • To assist business units to structure green loan/products and enhance the relevant processes
  • To assist in ESG related projects and other regulatory driven projects.
  • To respond to ad hoc requests from the business, risk management users, internal audit, compliance or regulators


Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Sustainable and Green Finance, Environmental Science/Studies, Risk Management or related discipline
  • Minimum 6 years experience in environmental, ESG, risk management, consulting and/or banking industry
  • Knowledge in banking business, processes and products
  • Holder of Certificate in ESG investing (CFA), Sustainability and Climate Risk Certificate (GARP), Certified ESG Planner CEP (ICDS) or related certification added an advantage
  • Familiar with international standards of climate risk/sustainability such as SBTi, NGFS, IPCC, PCAF added an advantage.
  • Skills in managing large amount of data
  • Ability to work independently and to coordinate with different stakeholders are essential
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua)
