Terms and Conditions

For the terms & conditions of the relevant preferential fixed deposit interest rate of Hong Kong Dollar, please contact the staff of the Bank for details.

If the Bank’s records show that the cardholder (customer who holds a Credit Card) has failed to pay the minimum payment on or before the payment due date twice or on more occasion within a period of twelve consecutive months immediately before the anniversary date of account opening, the cardholder will be charged for the annual fee of that calendar year and all annual fee waiver to which the cardholder is entitled will become ineffective.

This is only applicable to the inward Telegraphic Transfer charge to account with the Bank in all currencies.

Each customer can only purchase a maximum of 5 gift vouchers each time.

The minimum “Daily Average Total Relationship Balance” of Ambassador Banking should be maintained at HK$1,000,000 equivalent or above. There is no service maintenance fee for using Ambassador Banking at this moment . If customer closes Ambassador Banking service within 6 months from Ambassador Banking successful enrollment date, a service closure fee of HK$500 or equivalent will be levied. For the account’s fees & charges and terms & conditions of accounts & other banking services, please refer to the existing “Global Terms and Conditions for Accounts and Services”, other relevant terms & conditions for banking services and List of Service Charges for Retail Banking Services of the Bank or contact the staff of the Bank for details.

Unless otherwise specified, the above Ambassador Banking privileges cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers.

The Bank reserves the right to suspend, vary or cancel the above privileges and amend the relevant terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. In case of any disputes, the decision of the Bank shall be final and conclusive.

Should there be any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of the terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.

In case you file a written complaint regarding the selling process or processing of the related transaction to the Bank and the complaint is an “Eligible Dispute(s)” as defined in the Terms of Reference for the Financial Dispute Resolution Centre, the Bank is required to enter into a Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme process with you if the Eligible Dispute cannot be resolved after the Bank has issued the final written reply. If the complaint/dispute is related to the policy term, it should be resolved directly between the fund house(s) and you. Nevertheless, where practicable and appropriate, Fubon Bank will provide reasonable assistance to customers in the dispute resolution process.
